Shortly after Carlsson presenting the tuning package for the Mercedes C-class, the guys from Brabus have put their hands on the estate model of the C-class and came out with this modified version that will be presented on the Essen Motor Show as part of its new sports program for the wagon range. The product lineup includes engine tuning for petrol and diesel models, an aerodynamic enhancement program, light-alloy rimms up to 19inch and custom interior options.

BRABUS K4: That's the name of the tuning kit that BRABUS now offers for the new SLK 200 Kompressor. The K4 kit increases power output of the new roadster from 163 hp / 120 kW to 193 hp / 142 kW.

The engine tuning comes with the BRABUS Tuning Warranty of 3 years up to 100,000 kilometers (see BRABUS warranty conditions as of June 2003) and comprises newly calibrated engine electronics with custom mapping for ignition and injection as well as a moderate increase in boost pressure.

The BRABUS K4 performance kit, also available for the new Kompressor models C 200, CLK 200 and E 200, increases not only maximum power output but also peak torque. 260 Nm of peak torque represent an increase of more than ten percent over the production version of the fourcylinder four-valve engine.

Performance improves accordingly: Acceleration time from 0 - 100 km/h is shortened to 7.5 seconds, top speed increases to 236 km/h.

The MSRP for the BRABUS K4 performance kit is 1,948 euros. BRABUS recommends ARAL highperformance lubricants.

With or without performance tuning: The fully stainless-steel BRABUS four-tip sport exhaust lends the roadster an even more striking rear appearance and a more powerful engine sound.

BRABUS also refines the new Mercedes with tastefully styled and aerodynamically efficient body components, which prove their mettle in the wind tunnel. The BRABUS aerodynamic-enhancement kit improves drag and reduces unwanted lift on front and rear axle.

The BRABUS front spoiler and BRABUS inserts for the front apron with integrated brake air ducts and four auxiliary headlights give the front of the roadster an even more striking appearance.

The BRABUS designers also developed a discrete spoiler lip for the trunk lid, which serves as the aerodynamic counterpart to the front spoiler.

The BRABUS side sills create a perfect transition between front and rear wheel houses. The new side sills are optionally available with integrated entrance lights. The LED entrance lights are activated with the keyless-entry remote or by pulling on the door handles. They illuminate the ground on either side of the car, making entering and exiting the vehicle in the dark safer.

The BRABUS rear apron with integrated diffuser was designed to contain two cutouts that precisely fit the four exhaust tips of the BRABUS sport exhaust system.

The BRABUS roadster bars made from highly polished stainless steel lend the SLK classic roadster looks. Available soon will be a version made from a combination of silver-colored carbon and stainless steel.

Wheels make a car and thus BRABUS refines the two-door with exclusive one-piece and multipiece BRABUS Monoblock light-alloy wheels with diameters ranging from 17 to 19 inches. The largest TÜV-tested version features multi-piece BRABUS Monoblock V and VI wheels in sizes 8.5Jx19 in front and 9.5Jx19 on the rear axle. BRABUS recommends Michelin and Pirelli highperformance tires in size 225/35 ZR 19 in front and in size 255/30 ZR 19 in the rear.

The BRABUS sport suspension is specifically calibrated to the use of 17-, 18- and 19-inch highperformance tires. The gas-pressure shocks and springs feature a comfortable ride and lower the ride-height of the roadster by some three centimeters. BRABUS also offers sport springs that can be combined with the production shocks.

Maximum driving safety is the trademark of BRABUS high-performance brake systems for the new SLK. Two different versions are available. The larger version consists of six-piston aluminum fixed calipers and 355-mm vented and slotted discs in front and 300-mm discs and four-piston aluminum fixed calipers on the rear axle.

Upon customer request BRABUS also customizes the interior of the SLK. The product lineup includes exclusive accessories such as highly polished stainless-steel sill plates with illuminated BRABUS logo, sporty aluminum parts such as foot pedals and shift lever, and an ergonomically shaped BRABUS sport steering wheel featuring a combination of leather and Alcantara. In addition the cockpit can be refined with sporty or carbon or luxurious wood trim inserts. The company-own upholstery shop creates interiors masterfully crafted from especially soft yet breathable BRABUS Mastik and Alcantara leathers.

In big cities across America, the "it" car is the sleek CLS from Mercedes-Benz. The CLS is even better when dressed for success in optional AMG attire that includes a raucous 5.5-liter supercharged V-8, sport suspension, and massive brakes. But, for some, even the creases on AMG's trousers aren't sharp enough, so the automotive aftermarket is ready to help.

Brabus, one of the best-known Mercedes-Benz tuners, offers a host of hot hardware to amplify the already stunning CLS55. We tested Brabus's K8 version, seasoned with equal portions of power, looks, and handling.



Underhood, thrust is up a reported 81 ponies thanks to a titanium pulley that overdrives the factory twin-screw supercharger, high-flow air filters, and special spark/fuel calibration ($13,500 with warranty). Brabus improves venting via its larger-diameter stainless-steel exhaust system ($3195) breathing through less-restrictive mufflers. Around town, the K8 remains quiet and undercover. Yet, planting your right foot produces 550 horses along with a sinister exhaust growl. Good luck getting the car to hook up with aggressive throttle application, though, as the Brabus-tuned 5.5-liter V-8 cooks the Michelin rear meats better than a George Foreman grill.

Brabus reprogrammed the CLS's electronic suspension ($1495) to deliver a 1.5-inch-lower ride height for improved center of gravity and a more aggressive look. Choose between Brabus Monoblock VI ($8600) or Monoblock S ($5780) 20x9.0-inch (front) and 20x10.5-inch (rear) light alloy wheels wearing Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires ($1100), 255/30ZR20 (front) and 295/25ZR20 (rear). The wheel/tire combo looks stunning, though 20-plus-inch-diameter wheels often hurt performance. Such was the case in our K8 testing. Although ride quality proved surprisingly smooth with the tiny 30- and 25-series sidewalls, on the track the big rolling stock didn't improve straight-line or cornering performance. To be fair, the K8's bulging 550 horsepower did nothing to help the search for traction. During acceleration and handling tests, even slightly too much throttle spun the rear PS2s as if they were slathered in Crisco.

Concurrent with the market introduction of the new Mercedes CL-Class, Brabus presents an extensive and exclusive tuning program.

Engine tuning with up to 730 bhp, 21-inch light-alloy wheels and sporty yet elegant aerodynamic-enhancement parts are on the available-options list. Also available are a sport suspension, a high-performance brake system and exclusive interior appointments.

The top performance level from Brabus for the CL 600 is the Brabus SV12 S Biturbo engine. To increase swept volume from standard 5.5 to 6.3 liters the engine block is reworked and fitted with a special crankshaft with longer stroke, and with larger, forged pistons. The inlet and outlet ports of both cylinder heads are machined for optimal gas flow further aided by four special camshafts.



The Brabus engine specialists further equip the motor with larger turbochargers, a more efficient intercooling system and a stainless-steel high-performance quad exhaust with low-back-pressure metal catalysts. Newly programmed engine electronics ensure perfect interaction of all new components, and contribute not only to maximizing power yield but also to meeting strict current emission limits.

The maximum power output of 730 bhp at 5,100 rpm represents a superlative for the Brabus SV12 S Biturbo engine as does the peak torque of 873 lb-ft at 2,100 rpm. In the vehicle peak torque is limited electronically to 810 lb-ft.

These extraordinary performance figures make the Brabus SV12 S coupe not just one of the most powerful but also one of the fastest GT's in the world. 0 - 60 bph in 3.9 seconds, 124 mph after just 11.9 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 211 mph speak volumes.

Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a modified five-speed automatic transmission. An optional Brabus rear locking differential optimizes traction.

To add more sporty emphasis to the elegant lines of the new C 216-series Mercedes coupe the Brabus designers have developed an aerodynamic-enhancement kit, manufactured from high-quality PUR-R-RIM in OEM quality.

The Brabus front bumper was shaped in the wind tunnel. Its sophisticated shape reduces lift on the front axle. The large central air dam optimizes cooling of engine and front brakes. Integrated fog lamps and high beams give the car a more charismatic appearance and improve active safety through better illumination of the roadway.

The Brabus rocker panels were designed to optimize airflow along the vehicle's sides. As a useful additional feature these panels come with integrated entrance lights.

The bolt-on rear fascia is designed to perfectly integrate the fully stainless-steel Brabus quad sports exhaust into the rear appearance. The rear fascia also features three LED lights recessed in the underside of the fascia. They are activated when the trunk lid is opened and facilitate loading and unloading the trunk in the dark. An understated rear spoiler rounds out the sophisticated Brabus aerodynamics concept.

Just as important for a customized appearance and for sporty handling are custom-tailored wheels. The new CL can be fitted with Brabus Monoblock light-alloy wheels in various width and design with 18-, 19-, 20- and 21-inch diameters. The largest tire/wheel combination for the C 216 series are Brabus Monoblock VI and E wheels in sizes 9Jx21 in front and 10.5Jx21 on the rear axle. For optimal tires Brabus selected Pirelli and Yokohama high-performance tires in sizes 255/30 ZR21 in front and 285/30 ZR21 in the rear.

Specifically matched to this tire/wheel combination is the Brabus lowering module for the standard ABC suspension. It lowers the ride height of the two-door by about an inch.

To keep the exceptional performance safely in check at all times the Mercedes can be fitted with a Brabus high-performance brake system. The top-of-the-line version features 12-piston fixed aluminum calipers and 380 x 36-millimeter vented and cross-drilled discs on the front axle. The rear axle decelerates with 355 x 28-millimeter discs and six-piston fixed aluminum calipers.

The interior of the new Mercedes coupe offers numerous opportunities for exclusive Brabus treatments. The list of products ranges from door sills with Brabus logo to ergonomically shaped sport steering wheels to an exclusive Brabus fully leather interior crafted from especially soft yet durable Brabus Mastik leather and the finest Alcantara.

Engine tuning of up to 730 hp and s sporty designer outfit: In a very special and exclusive world debut at the 2005 Essen Motor Show, Brabus presents an extensive customization program for the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class.

Naturally Brabus also offers powerful engine tuning for the new models in the W 221 series, backed by the one-of-a-kind Brabus tuning warranty of three years up to 100,000 kilometers.

The pinnacle of powerful engine tuning is the Brabus S V12 S Biturbo engine. Its displacement is increased to 6233 cc with the help of a custom crankshaft, a larger cylinder bore and forged pistons. The inner workings of the engine are also modified extensively: gas flow in intake and outlet ports of both cylinder heads is optimized, and the engine is fitted with sports camshafts.



The Brabus engine specialists further equip the engine with larger turbochargers, more efficient intercoolers and a stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system with four tailpipes and metal catalysts with low backpressure. Newly programmed engine electronics ensure not only the optimal synchronization of all new components but also contribute to maximum power yield and to meeting all current emission limits.

The Brabus S V12 S Biturbo engine develops a whopping 730 hp / 537 kW at 5100 rpm. The peak torque of 1320 Nm is limited electronically to 1100 Nm, available from a low 2100 rpm.

Without sacrificing running smoothness the luxury sedan thus turns into a serious challenger for the world's fastest sports cars: 0 – 100 km/h in 4.0 seconds, 200 km/h after just 11.9 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 340 km/h make the sedan with Brabus S V12 S Biturbo displacement engine are truly special driving experience.

Sporty sound and thrilling looks are the main characteristics of the Brabus sport exhaust systems with four tailpipes. The fully stainless-steel exhausts are available for all engine variants of the S-Class.

Brabus also offer custom-tailored designer outfits for the new S-Class. To give the luxury sedan an even more striking face there is a sporty-looking front apron complete with auxiliary headlights. As an alternative the standard front of the S-Class can be refined with the addition of the Brabus carbon front spoiler. Both versions are wind-tunnel-tested and reduce lift at high speeds. There are also custom-tailored auxiliary headlight inserts for the standard front bumper that each house two fog lamps and two high-beams.

The Brabus sill trim and the rear apron, both with integrated LED lights, are as attractive as they are useful. Upon activation via keyless-entry remote or by pulling on the inside door handle five LED lights on either side and in the rear illuminate the ground around the vehicle, making exiting and entering the car and loading or unloading the trunk in the dark safer. The rear apron further features custom cutouts for the four tailpipes of the Brabus sport exhaust.

The exclusive Brabus look for the new Mercedes S-Class is rounded out by one-piece or multi-piece Brabus Monoblock light-alloy wheels with 18-, 19-, 20- or even 21-inch diameter. The largest tire/wheel combination features multi-piece forged and highly polished BRABUS Monoblock VI wheels in size 9Jx21 on the front axle and in size 10.5Jx21 in the rear. Extensive driving tests determined Pirelli and Yokohama tires in sizes 255/30 ZR 21 in front and 285/30 ZR 21 on the rear axle as the ideal counterparts.

The Brabus suspension modules are specially calibrated to these sporty tire/wheel combinations. The modules are available for vehicles with air or ABC suspensions. They lower the ride height of the S-Class by some 25 millimeters and give it a sporty yet comfortable ride.

Brabus also offers three different versions of its high-performance brake systems for the new top-of-the-line Mercedes. The largest version features 12-piston aluminum fixed calipers and 380 x 36 millimeter vented and perforated discs on the front axle. On the rear axle 355 x 28 millimeter discs and 6-piston aluminum fixed calipers provide ample stopping power. Special flex-steel brake lines guarantee consistently high brake pressure at all times.

Luxury and individuality in the interior is yet another Brabus specialty. The range of products for the new S-Class includes sill plates with Brabus logo, ergonomically shaped safety steering wheels with airbag, and even an exclusive fully leather Brabus interior made from especially soft yet durable Brabus Mastik and the finest Alcantara leathers. An increase in maximum power output from standard 170 PS (168 hp) / 125 kW to 220 PS (217 hp) / 162 kW, a jump in torque from 400 Nm to 480 Nm (295 to 354 lb-ft), combined with maximum environmental friendliness in accordance with Euro IV emission limits, and all that backed by the one-of-a-kind BRABUS Tuning Warranty of three years, up to 100,000 kilometers (see BRABUS warranty conditions): For the new Mercedes-Benz C 220 CDI BRABUS presents the new BRABUS POWER XTRA D3 S power kit.



The processor-controlled BRABUS auxiliary control unit with integrated injector drive module comes with a ready-to-connect wire harness and detailed installation instructions. It can be installed quickly and easily by any authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer. The BRABUS POWER XTRA D3 S tuning kit works flawlessly in conjunction with the standard particulate filter of the C 220 CDI and increases maximum power output by 50 PS (49 hp) / 36.8 kW and peak torque by 80 Nm (59 lb-ft). Despite the increased performance emissions of the turbodiesel engine remain on the low level of the production car: Even with BRABUS performance tuning the car meets stringent EURO IV emission standards.

The added powerful of the tuned diesel engine is noticeable in every traffic situation: The increase in torque gives the C 220 CDI superior pulling power even at low engine speeds, making passing maneuvers shorter and safer.
Vehicle performance speaks for itself: With a sprint time from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) of 7.8 seconds the C 220 CDI with BRABUS D3 S performance kit takes almost a full second less than the production car. The top speed of 239 km/h (149 mph) exceeds that of the production model by 10 km/h (6 mph).

The fully stainless-steel BRABUS quad sport exhaust for the Mercedes C 220 CDI looks great and gives the car a more powerful exhaust note.

In addition to performance tuning BRABUS offers an extensive customization program for the new Mercedes C-Class. BRABUS Tuning for the new Mercedes E-Class Wagon



Top-of-the-line version for the six-cylinder models E 240 and E 320 is the BRABUS 3.8 V6 increased-displacement engine. Displacement is increased to 3.8 liters thanks to a custom crankshaft with longer stroke, larger pistons and a corresponding increase in bore. The BRABUS engine conversion also comprises custom camshafts and precision re-machining of the three valve cylinder heads plus reprogrammed engine electronics that take into account these modifications. The BRABUS 3.8 V6 engine conversion elevates the new wagon to a unique performance level: Maximum power output jumps from 224 hp / 165 kW to 280 hp / 206 kW at 5,750 rpm. At the same time maximum torque grows to 390 Nm between 3,000 and 4,500 rpm. Performance of the five-door benefits accordingly: The tuned wagon accelerates in just 7.9 seconds to 100 km/h; top speed is 249 km/h.



BRABUS engine tuning is also available for all new E-Class wagons with common-rail turbodiesel engines. The BRABUS D3 performance module was developed for the E 220 CDI. It increases maximum power output from 150 hp / 110 kW to 177 hp / 130 kW, and boosts maximum torque from 340 Nm to 380 Nm at just 2,000 rpm.

The E 270 CDI also exhibits a notable power increase with BRABUS D4 Tuning: After the conversion the engine develops 215 hp / 158 kW at 4,200 rpm and produces a maximum torque of 475 Nm, which is available between 1,800 and 2,600 rpm.

The E 320 CDI with BRABUS D6 performance kit delivers 250 hp / 184 kW at 4,200 rpm, surpassing the production engine by 46 hp / 33,9 kW. Just as powerful is the increase in torque: Between 1,800 and 2,600 rpm the engine produces 540 Nm instead of normally 500 Nm. Thus equipped the tuned diesel accelerates in just 7.7 seconds to 100 km/h and reaches a top speed of 242 km/h.

BRABUS also offers custom-tailored stainless-steel sport exhaust systems for all available engines of the new Mercedes E-Class wagon. The E 220 CDI can be fitted with a sport rear muffler with dual tailpipes, while a BRABUS sport exhausts with four tailpipes is available for all other models.

To add a more sporty emphasis to the elegant lines of the new E-Class wagon the BRABUS designers developed a strikingly styles aerodynamic enhancement kit manufactured from Pur-R- Rim in OEM quality. The new front bumper with integrated spoiler doesn't simply look great with its choice of two or four auxiliary headlights. It also reduces lift on the front axle, thus improving directional stability at high speeds. The BRABUS side sills give the wagon a longer, sleeker appearance and offer an additional interesting feature: Pushing a button on the keyless-entry remote or pulling on the door handle activates entry lights integrated into the underside of the sills. These lights illuminate the ground next to the vehicle, making entering and exiting the car in the dark safer. The strikingly styles BRABUS rear apron complements the BRABUS sport exhausts system and completes the car's elegant yet sporty appearance.

Just as important for a customized appearance are BRABUS Monoblock IV, V and VI light-alloy wheels, which are available in various designs in sizes from 17 to 20 inches. The largest possible combination on the new E-Class uses multi-piece BRABUS Monoblock V or VI wheels in sizes 8.5Jx19 on the front axle and 9.5Jx20 in the rear. These wheels are mounted with high- performance tires in sizes 245/35 ZR 19 in front and 255/30 ZR 20 on the rear axle.

There are also a number of BRABUS suspension solutions developed in cooperation with SACHS Race Engineering. They include a lowering kit, sporty yet comfortable complete suspensions and a custom control module for the vehicles equipped with the optional air suspension

The BRABUS high-performance brake system features 360-millimeter disks and six-piston aluminum calipers on the front axle and four-piston calipers in the rear.

Unadulterated luxury and individuality in the interior is yet another BRABUS specialty. The list of options includes stainless-steel sill plates, ergonomically shaped safety steering wheels with airbag, and exclusive BRABUS fully leather interiors crafted from a combination of soft yet durable BRABUS Mastik leather and Alcantara.

To round out the program for the new model series, BRABUS also offers the BRABUS multimedia package with DVD player, game console and LCD monitors, integrated into the front headrests. The fortwo Brabus edition red, available in both coupe and cabrio flavas. Is the latest in a long line of special editions aimed at putting some spark into the rather tired ultra-mini city car. Tuning division Brabus, however, has done wonders with the smart range in the past, and this quirky little three-cylinder machine generates 74bhp, is completely red, comes with 16in alloys and a full bodykit



Standard equipment includes semi-auto transmission, leather seats, dashboard and door trims with red contrast stitching, 3-spoke leather sports steering wheel with steering wheel gearshift paddles, air-con, front fog lights, twin sports exhaust with heat shield and audio package.

A spokesman said: “There’s never been a smart fortwo quite like it. This distinctive and exclusive special edition will appeal to customers who want to stand out from the crowd and enjoy the fun-packed performance that a Brabus-tuned engine can offer”.

Even more power for all Mercedes 63 AMG models: BRABUS presents its B63 S engine tuning, which boosts power output of the high-revving 6.2-liter V8 to 550 hp / 404 kW and peak torque to 650 Nm. With a sprint time from rest to 100 km/h of just 4.3 seconds and a top speed of 330 km/h a CLS 63 AMG with B63 S tuning turns in performance worthy of a true super sports car.

The BRABUS power kit comprises newly programmed engine electronics with special mapping for injection and ignition. But that’s not all: The intake side features a sport air filter for improved supply of combustion air. The exhaust side features high-performance metal catalysts with low back pressure that also ensure that the tuned V8 engine meets stringent EURO IV emission limits.

In order to transfer the increased power to the road with minimum slip BRABUS recommends the BRABUS locking differential for all Mercedes 63 models with rear wheel drive. The diff lock has a locking rate of up to 40 percent.

The BRABUS B63 S performance kit is available for all Mercedes 63 AMG models. With 550 hp / 404 kW the ML 63 accelerates in 4.9 seconds from 0 -100 km/h and reaches a top speed of 275 km/h in combination with the BRABUS V/max unit.

This extraordinary performance represents a good argument for modifications to tires, suspension and brakes. Depending on the Mercedes 63 AMG model in question BRABUS offers custom-tailored tire/wheel combinations up to size 11Jx23 with tires up to 315/25 R 23 in size. To further improve the already excellent handling characteristics BRABUS has developed a control module for the ABC suspensions that lowers the ride height by some 20 millimeters. BRABUS sport stabilizers reduce body roll and optimize turn-in.

The BRABUS high-performance brake system offers stopping power and endurance normally only found in purebred sports cars. It is available for all Mercedes 63 AMG models, upon customer request even in a special version with ceramic discs. Rated at 72 kW / 98 bhp, the smart fortwo BRABUS and smart fortwo BRABUS Xclusive have more than 30 percent more engine power than the BRABUS variant of the predecessor model. At the same time the low consumption and low CO2 emissions demonstrate that this does not have to come at a cost to the environment and customers' wallets.

In addition, the two BRABUS variants boast an extremely low weight to power ratio: at just 7.8 kg/bhp this is 24 percent lower than that of the previous BRABUS variant.

smart fortwo BRABUS: Greater power and sports suspension



The smart fortwo BRABUS places the primary focus on sportiness. Its three-cylinder petrol engine with capacity of one litre delivers 72 kW (98 bhp) and together with maximum torque of 140 Newton metres this lends the 770 kilo two-seater remarkably lively agility. The sprint from zero to 100 km/h takes less than ten seconds and the maximum speed (electronically limited) is 155 km/h.

BRABUS has announced its D3 S POWER XTRA tuning kit for Mercedes-Benz's new C220 CDI sedan. The Euro-market oil-burner sees a marked improvement in performance after installation, with power jumping from 168 hp/295 lb-ft to 217 horses and a stout 354 lb-ft of torque. On the road, this shaves a full second off the run to 100 km/h (62 mph), which takes 7.8 seconds post-modification. The car's top speed increases to 149 mph, a 6 mph gain. Despite the added performance, emissions remain at the same Euro IV-compliant levels as the factory-stock C220 CDI. Installation can be performed at any Mercedes-Benz dealer's service department. Naturally, BRABUS would love for buyers of the power kit to pony up for additional accessories like the tuner's sport exhaust and bodywork modifications, but they're certainly not required.

BRABUS equips the SLR with a special self-locking differential. Its 40 percent locking rate
further optimizes the super sports car's traction and thus further improves acceleration.

In BRABUS Racing version with performance-improving fuel cooling, custom camshafts and an
open racing exhausts system maximum power output of the supercharged V8 engine increases
to 660 hp / 486 kW at 6,500 rpm. The exhaust system is not certified for use on public roads.
Thus equipped the SLR storms to 100 km/h from rest in just 3.6 seconds and reaches a top
speed of up to 340 km/h.

BRABUS further offers professional modifications to body, suspension and interior that further
amplify the sports talents of the SLR.

For further improved directional stability at high speeds the BRABUS designers developed a
new spoiler for the front air dam. The exposed-carbon aerodynamic-enhancement part reduces
lift on the front axle and adds another shot of racing looks. The rear diffuser is also made from
exposed carbon.

The multi-piece BRABUS Monoblock VI 20-inch light-alloy wheels with six double spokes
command immediate attention. The fully polished wheels in size 9.5Jx20 in front and in size
11.5Jx20 on the rear axle fill out the available space below the wheel arches perfectly.


BRABUS chose high-performance tires in sizes 255/30 ZR 20 and 305/25 ZR 20 as the optimal
solution. The conversion to the BRABUS 20-inch tire/wheel combination gives the Mercedes-
Benz SLR McLaren even more dynamic handling prowess.

BRABUS also adds new sporty and exclusive highlights in the interior. The company-own
upholstery shop created a BRABUS interior from an exclusive black and red combination of
leather and Alcantara, perfectly crafted down to the last detail. The waffle-design stitching of the
SLR leather floor is especially elaborate and it alone uses 7,800 meters of the finest thread.

For easier entering and exiting BRABUS manufactured a custom BRABUS sport steering wheel
with an ergonomically shaped rim that is flat on the bottom. For manual shifting of the SLR's
automatic transmission the BRABUS steering wheel features buttons integrated into the spokes.

The BRABUS interior designers developed precise-fit applications for dashboard, center
console and door panels, all made from exposed carbon. They extend the BRABUS exterior
carbon look into the interior.

The BRABUS super sports car sells for 600,000 Euros. Included in the price is the SLR's air- freight shipment to anywhere in the world.
