Mercedes CL Class Coupe The 2010 Mercedes-Benz (C216) CL-Class benefits from a series of complimenting arcs. That the rear windscreen mimics the car’s semi-circular profile glass is a nice visual coup.Mercedes innovations such as the active suspension ABC (Active Body Control), the Intelligent Light System with five different functions and the preventive occupant protection PRE-SAFE ® are part of the standard equipment. Two powerful engines with eight or twelve cylinders are available. They offer a clear advantage in power and torque and is also characterized by good smoothness.

Mercedes CL Class Coupe The Mercedes Benz CL-class is essentially the Mercedes Benz S-class’ technical twin, being based on the same platform and even sharing similar design cues. The Mercedes Benz CL-class is Mercedes Benz’s largest coupe, and it comes with two engines. The CL500 comes with a normally aspirated 5.5 liter V8 making 388hp at 6,000rpm and 530Nm of torque between 2,800-4,800rpm. This is mated to a Mercedes Benz 7G-Tronic transmission, which features 7 forward gears (two of them are overdrive) and a one reverse gear.

The top of the range CL600 has a slightly larger 5.5 liter V12 (5513cc as compared to the V8’s 5461cc), but as it is twin-turbocharged, it makes 517hp at 5,000rpm and an amazing 830Nm of torque from as low as 1,900rpm to 3,500rpm. The V12 twin turbo only has a 5-speed auto instead of the 7-speed in the V8. 0-100km/h acceleration for the V12 is 4.6 seconds, and it’s top speed is an electronically limited 250km/h as well.

There is also PreSafe which, when it senses a possible accident (via rapid brake pedal and steering inputs and/or stability control intervention) will automatically position the front-passenger seat for optimum airbag use and close the windows and sunroof if a rollover is imminent. All but the CL550 feature PreSafe Brake, which can automatically apply up to 40 percent of the vehicle's braking capacity when it senses a seemingly imminent collision. In addition, on all but the CL550, the brake lights flash rapidly during emergency braking to help prevent rear collisions.

Mercedes Benz B Class Design, dynamism and proportions. The B-Class delivers on all three counts. A premium car with remarkable engine power, exceptional ride comfort, and highly generous amounts of space plus flexibility to match. Considering all the B-Class has to offer, it’s hard to believe that it’s just 4.27 meters in length.

Mercedes Benz B Class The sales figures for the B-Class to date provide clear evidence that the Mercedes-Benz product planners hit the mark with a concept that caters to the motoring needs of today's sophisticated society: since mid-2005, over 325,000 motorists around the world have been won over by the Sports Tourer. The restyled front end injects the B-Class with even more poise and assurance than before. This is primarily down to the radiator grille with its three chromed cross fins painted in metallic grey and the Mercedes star integrated into its center. However, the more imposing appearance of the B-Class also stems from the new-look bumper – whose design emphasizes the large air intake at the bottom – as well as the modified bonnet.

Mercedes Benz B Class Plenty of driving pleasure combined with smooth operation and low consumption – these are the strong points of the B-Class petrol engines. The top-of-the-line model is the B 200 TURBO. With an output of 142 kW (193 hp) and 280 Nm of torque, it accelerates to 100 km/h in just 7.4 seconds and attains a top speed of 218 km/h. The other petrol model – the B 200 – shows how sporty economical driving can be with 100 kW and 185 Nm of torque. The B-Class continues to be available with a choice of six engines – two direct-injection diesel units (80 kW/109 hp and 103 kW/140 hp) delivering up to 300 Newton metres of torque, as well as four petrol engines with a peak power output of up to 142 kW/193 hp and a maximum torque of 280 Newton metres. The four-cylinder power units have undergone a series of detailed improvements in order to further reduce fuel consumption. For the diesel models, this means that the combined NEDC fuel consumption of the B 180 CDI and B 200 CDI has dropped by as much as seven percent – depending on tyre size – to 5.2 - 5.4 and 5.4 - 5.6 liters per 100 kilometers, respectively. The two turbo diesel models will therefore be an even less seldom sight at the filling station from now on; the B 180 CDI can clock up over 1000 kilometers on a single tank of fuel (54 liters).

2009 Mercedes Benz CLK

2009 Mercedes Benz CLK Mercedes Benz has lost ground in the premium coupe segment against its main rival BMW and its more recent E92 3-series coupe, so it comes as little surprise that engineers are rushing to complete development of the all-new 2009 CLK. Near production-ready CLK test mules have been spotted near Stuttgart, and now these latest renderings give us a clue as to what the final car will look like. Designers have followed the style set by the larger S-Class sedan with the new CLK picking up a high waistline and wedge profile plus a chiseled front end with angular headlights. The new lights are a departure to the current model’s conjoined circular units, featuring a squared, dual projector look that will be shared by the new E-Class.

2009 Mercedes Benz CLK Powertrains will be similar to the C-Class sedan including the new 272hp 3.5L V6 engine as well as Mercedes’ 5.5L V8 for the CLK500 (550) flagship. An even more powerful AMG version is guaranteed; sporting a 481hp version of the hand-built 6.2L V8 engine. The CLK will be offered with optional 4Matic AWD and could possibly come with a new mild-hybrid option.

2009 Mercedes Benz CLK The "nice guy" attitude of the current Mercedes-Benz mid-size coupe will be completely dropped, as the next-gen CLK will want to play with the “bad boys”. In order to do that it will feature an all-new design line, with angular strokes and aggressive accents. The four front lights layout will be kept, but this time they will no longer be round. In addition to that, the fog lights will use LEDs as most of the new vehicles will.

2009 Mercedes Benz CLK The aggressive esthetics will be backed by an all revised engine range. An important novelty will be the entry level 2.2 liters diesel that will offer a highly advanced depollution system and will provide a respectable power output of up to 204 bhp. As for the gasoline engines, they will feature direct fuel injection to improve efficaciousness. All engines will be available with the optional 4Matic, all wheel drive system. Hybrid versions are also expected to be developed later.
